One of our most exciting projects is the pilot we are running for the WMCA. The course, written and developed by C;are Goode is designed to work alongside Birmingham residents who are unemployed and for whom English has been a barrier for gaining employment.
​
Whilst this engages individuals for whom English is a Second or Other Language (ESOL) we have designed the course to be unlike other ESOL courses. Through a range or teaching methods we equip learners for the workplace giving them the language, understanding and confidence to forge amazing careers in the UK.
​
So far we are seeing brilliant results and have some amazing stories to tell; from preventing learners becoming homeless to badly drawn cactus! Our learners become part of our family, they trust us and we support them in every way we can to be able to fulfil the dreams and the ambitions they have.

Our Employability course, created by Paul Goode is delivered to people on the Restart Programme. The course aims to not only equip learners with the skills needed to secure long term employment but it also looks to address issues that the learners may find difficulty finding employment. From working on building confidence to addressing mental health and wellbeing we see the real importance of developing the individual to become a more rounded individual.
Claimants who take part on our Employability course consistently provide incredible feedback and will always take away things from the course that they never imagined they would.

Our teachers enjoy delivering the course as it is informative and fun. We share a lot of laughter and we see many "lightbulb" moments from our learners.
